After a long time I am writing something in this blog....................

You might have heard recent disasters in civil engineering field in Kerala...................

Many buildings in Malappuram district of Kerala were collapsed during last two months.............

The reasons were many..................

Mainly the poor supervision and consultation...............

The situation prevailing in India is that the Architects and supervisors plays major role in construction field................

The local people are not aware about the importance of a structural engineer...........

They try to get a plan from the architect and will meet a contractor...............

Well experienced contractors will lead the client to a structural engineer, others what they do is, they just build the building in their primitive knowledge and experience.........

Now a days the architectures are just caring the beauty of the structure...............and even clients are doing so...................

The functionality of the building has become the second option.................

This has to be changed..........people have to realize the importance of a structural engineer.............

Otherwise the disasters will continue.................
